The GKA Kite World Tour had an amazing 2021 season with 7 successful events.

Here’s a recap of each of the World Tour Events that happened this season.

Thank you for an epic year!

First up, is Tarifa. Where the wind blew!! This first event of the year was the first appearance of the mixed format, meaning depending on the conditions, the judges could adjust the criteria for scoring. This event started with freestyle and then transitioned to Big Air as the wind picked up.

The second kite-surf event of the season was held in Sylt, Germany where we saw big air strapless freestyle. It was impressive!

Over September 6-11, the GKA held the next kite-surf event of the season in Hvide Sande, Denmark. Unfortunately, we could not compete due to conditions.

Next up, we headed to Dakhla, Morocco! This event was 100% waves. And with the world championship title on the line, it was one to watch!

Finally, we ended in Brazil with hydro-foil freestyle and freestyle.

At the Super Kite Brazil 2021 in Cumbuco, the best freestyle tricks in the world were thrown down.
