The GKA Youth World Cup Tarifa will feature the two regular Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour disciplines: Freestyle and Kite-Surf (strapless freestyle). The event is held at Valdevaqueros.
65 riders from 14 nations have registered to compete in the U21, U19, U16 and U14 categories.
The competitions will follow the regular GKA Kite World Tour heat / ladder formats.
The winners of the GKA Youth World Cup Tarifa Kite-Surf discipline will be crowned the 2022 GKA Youth Kite-Surf World Champions in the various age categories.
The Freestylers will still have one more round to come at St. Pierre La Mer in France – 29th September – 2nd October (an event that will also stage the GWA Youth Wingfoil Surf-Freestyle and Surf-Slalom championships).
