Tuesday: 26th August
Location: Hamburg
Words: Kate Chandler

We’re entering the last week of filming for the GKA Distance Battle!

The original deadline was extended and the closing date for video entries moved to 5th September, meaning the live broadcast shows will start from the 19th September.

The GKA Distance Battle is the first of its kind in kitesurfing, bringing you the best action from top twintip freestyle and strapless freestyle riders! Athletes have been filming their heat entries over the past weeks, and are now submitting their videos, ready to be judged online, live and interactive with the GKA judges team and commentator Jo Ciastula. Don’t miss out on this world premiere, and see your favourite riders battle it out in live online shows!

Click below for a preview of what we have in store and a sneak peek at Adeuri Corniel’s entry, filmed at his home-spot in Cabarete.
