The GKA Distance Battle wildcard voting has closed and the numbers are in. Four athletes voted for by you, the public will now face the GKA Kite World Tour’s top athletes in the first interactive and online kitesurfing competition of its kind.

The riders with the most votes who will now be joining the worlds best for the GKA Distance Battle are:

Twintip Freestyle Men: Abdu Moutaouakil and Juan Rodriguez
Twintip Freestyle Women: Paula Novotna
Strapless Freestyle Men: Kiko Roig Torres and Camille Delannoy
Strapless Freestyle Women: Mikaili Sol
 
Your votes have spoken and the riders are now in the game, let the GKA Distance Battle commence! Filming for video heats begins tomorrow 18th July and will run until 22nd August. See you on the Battle field!
